A few hiccups and a dozen achievements, lots has been happening over at the DU Foundation.Two of our students have started the new year on the right foot. A B.Sc. Nursing student has aced her second year with high marks from a renowned multi-specialty hospital in Mumbai.
Another of our bright students has completed her Bachelor’s in Pharmacy, making her the first in her college to do so. She is set to start her M. Pharm. at the Bombay College Of Pharmacy.
Such successes hearten us at the Foundation to work harder. Our best wishes to both for their journeys ahead.
In other news, the members of the Foundation successfully completed visits to 3 schools on 18th January.
Work on the compound wall, storeroom, and arrangement for water has started at Pragati Vidyalaya, Asnoli, Shahapur. The Foundation aims to make these facilities available to the students and staff by 22nd March.
Pragati Vidyalaya at Thile, Shahapur, is updating its systems for students. The Foundation is assisting them financially.
The Foundation is also financing the building of a computer room and computers for the students of Sahyadri Vidyalaya, Tamburli.
