The Foundation has undertaken a new endeavour in the Andad Taluka village of Shahapur. We have recently inaugurated a vocational training centre in the village’s secondary school. The centre offers diverse training courses, ranging between 2-6 months.
The courses have commenced on January 12. These courses are tailored to hone a wide range of skills, including but not limited to mobile repairs, welding, tailoring, and sustainable handicrafts such as making plates and cups out of leaves and paper.
The goal behind the training centre is to foster crafts in students that will equip them to earn a living without leaving the village.
