As the end of the academic year nears, students are busy with assignments and exams. This month’s meeting, held on 7th April, saw a comparatively lower attendance.
However, we organized a guidance session for the students in attendance. The students were advised on careers, new challenges, and opportunities.
This meeting was also graced with the special attendance of the principal of Meenatail Thakre of Institute of Nursing. Students were told about the vocation of nursing, the importance of this professional course, and its advantages. The administrative aspects of the field, such as entrance exams, admissions, fees, and recent changes in the rules were also highlighted.
After seeing the great response to occupational courses that started in Andad school in Shahapur, the Foundation has initiated surveys in other schools in Shahapur to see the interest for these courses so students can learn about starting their businesses and stay in their hometown and generate employment opportunities here.
Psychologist Mrs Parul Hande will conduct a workshop for the students on improving communication skills and building self-confidence on 12 th may 24. The meeting concluded with a short motivational film.
